To hold a character, please comment on this entry. You may make a total of three characters at a time and may make an additional hold once an application has been submitted for mod approval if you wish. PB holds are not required, and we DO NOT accept challenges; characters are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Once held, you have five days to submit your application. One three day extension (which will start the day the mods respond) will be granted on request. If you do not respond to a hold expiration within twenty-four hours, your hold will be removed. After your hold drops, you must wait twenty-four hours to make the same hold again.

Characters listed under the civilian header can be moved to the Ministry of Magic section, should you give that character a job in the Ministry. They cannot be moved to the Order of the Phoenix section, however. (See the FAQs for more information regarding that.)

This list is not all inclusive! Any character found in canon that can feasibly be played in 1981 is available for play, including parents of future trio era characters and anyone found on HP Lexicon. For additional suggestions on characters to apply for, we recommend that you check the Wanted Lines. In addition to that, any characters listed as working for the Ministry, St. Mungo's, Daily Prophet, & WWN are available to be applied for unless noted otherwise.

As of 6PM EST on May 4, we will be closing applications for any character that is not listed below or involved in the DMLE. The only characters that we will be accepting are Order members, Death Eaters, DMLE, and select canon names. This is non-negotiable, although we do anticipate that applications will be opened up again in the future.

NOTE! We are currently capping any Aurors that finished school in 1969 and any non-heterosexual male characters.
